I supported programs related to climate change adaptation, environmental education, clean energy, and internships in the clean growth economy, by creating public communications campaigns, educational materials, and web content. I conducted media relations and appearances, managed all social media and public websites, and created content for a podcast, blogs, and video channels. I also spearheaded the creation of an online network for environmental professionals in Atlantic Canada, connected with our internship programming (www.CleanLeadership.ca); up and running for almost a year, the network currently has almost 800 members and continues to grow daily, with myself as the primary administrator. I oversaw development of key performance indicators for membership growth, and technical tools for ongoing monitoring of these indicators.During my time with Shambhala, I managed several organizational change processes, including a major overhaul of the worldwide funding and membership structure and a reorganization of the governance structure at all levels of activity, from the central infrastructure to the local chapter model.My role also included a wide range of development and communications, from managing semi-annual fundraising events to managing all official web presence and social media.
