It was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I learned more about HR from this experience than any prior classroom work.

While finishing up my Masters degree full-time, I worked with Magdelyn H. Helwig as a writing program intern. We worked closely with Fountainhead Press to compile, edit, and write a complementary textbook for the English 180 course (citation below). I additionally spent my time creating a working bibliography over research related to writing pedagogy, which was the focus of my capstone work. My research and my work teaching two sections of English 180 helped steer the direction of the text's contents and its publication.
