A Trainee Manager plays an integral role in the effective day-to-day operation of a Majestic store and is key to the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service. The Trainee Manager must contribute to the maintenance of store presentation, continuously developing their product knowledge, carrying out deliveries as required, minimising shrinkage and maximising sales opportunities. I was also involved with logistics and organisation planning the store deliveries for the week. As a part of my placement year I also put on a wine tasting event which involved planning, promoting and execution of the event which was a big success and exceeded my expectations. I was also responsible for ordering various sundries for the store which required me to liaise with various suppliers and organise the delivery of various products.
