I have always had a strong passion for practicing positions in the arts. Over time my talents have grown into different animals. Attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago evolved into collecting vintage Americana in hopes of reusing, repurposing or restoring items in an aesthetically pleasing way. One of my goals is to bring joy into spaces by designing beautiful and functional interiors that are unique and affordable. My background in mixed media art has given me the knowledge to explore broader spectrum projects. Photography and commercial art are also two of my practical ways of utilizing my creativity. During high school I was on the speech team, which made me familiar with literature, public speaking and acting. I went on to attend state competition for verse reading and thereafter coaching for three different schools. All throughout high school and college I used positions in the service industry to pay my bills. Although it’s work I thoroughly enjoy learning about different food and cocktails. I have 15 years of experience. I’ve held jobs as a cocktail server, waitress at a diner, all the way to mixologist and barista. As an eager and employable woman I feel I’d be a useful asset in any environment.
