Project Officer:Overseeing the Elsa and Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation funded project on improving employability and livelihoods of vulnerable populations (youth, women and refugees) in Jordan, in coordination with Greentech and Smart Desert Company. The role includes: • Coordinates and works with staff and implementing partners on planning logistics for the program’s implementation and project events.• Prepares reports and presentations on the progress of the program for Pathfinder management team and the donor.• Copyedits and reviews donor deliverables, e.g., reports, work plans, and presentations.Regional Business Development:• Identifying, establishing, and nurturing partnerships with NGOs, local organisations, government entities, and private sector partners to support Pathfinder's mission and objectives in the MENA Region.• Conducting research to identify relevant grant and project opportunities aligned with Pathfinder MENA's focus areas.• Developing compelling concept notes and proposals for numerous donors worldwide (FCDO, USAID, Elsa and Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation, Al Ghurair Foundation, Green Climate Fund, Union for the Mediterranean and Swiss Embassy to Jordan).• Developing and implementing strategies to expand Pathfinder's presence and reputation across the MENA region, focusing on the empowerment of vulnerable communities, youth inclusion, LNAs capacity-building, and climate change initiatives.• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential donors, partners, and government representatives.

Full-time internship with Pathfinder International's MENA Team, with a specific focus on regional business development and partnerships.As an integral member of the team establishing Pathfinder in the Middle East, my responsibilities include: ∙ Performing outreach to find potential partners and collaborators.∙ Writing concept notes and project proposals for various donors globally, including the FCDO, Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation and Elsa and Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation. ∙ Conducting research to find gaps within humanitarian aid in the region which Pathfinder can help to fill, with emphasis on women's economic and social empowerment, youth employment and upskilling, green initiatives, and capacity-building of local and national actors.∙Participated in meetings with the Embassy of Switzerland, the Jordanian National Commission for Women and FCDO to discuss women’s empowerment programming in Jordan, and the capacity-building of local community-based organisations.

Full-time internship with the Technical Protection Unit at the Danish Refugee Council in Amman, Jordan, specialising in GBV (gender-based violence) prevention. My key roles are in co-facilitating the rewriting of DRC Jordan's GVB programme strategy and design and leading a GVB PEF (gender-based violence protection evaluation framework) data collection and analysis, in order to further understand the success rate and sustainability of GBV prevention initiatives and use this information to better adapt future programming to the communities' needs.In January 2024 I had the pleasure of attending the DRC’s annual Protection Workshop for the Middle East Region in Amman, Jordan. During which I participated in and received in-depth, specialised training in Conflict Sensitivity; Economic Recovery and Protection Integrated Programming (Women’s Economic and Social Empowerment); Climate Change and the Humanitarian Crisis (including NEAT+); Community-Based Protection; Protection Case Management and C4P; Housing, Land and Property; Social Protection and Advocacy; and Partnerships.In February 2024 I took part in DRC’s and Arab Women Organisation’s Local Anchor Group Development Workshop. With a focus on GBV and Economic Recovery Integrated Programming, the learning event focused on: national strategies and frameworks for gender equality and empowerment; sustainable development principles; EcRec and livelihoods; and designing empowering programmes. The workshop was conducted entirely in Arabic and it was a pleasure to work with and learn from such an incredible Community-Based Organisation as AWO, and alongside colleagues from numerous local organisations.

• Working remotely and part-time as a Group Facilitator with Global Nomads Group.• Guiding dialogue (in both Spanish and English) between American and Mexican students during live zoom call events - helping all students become more confident conversing in their target language - whilst discussing important current issues such as overcoming biases, gender roles and global warming.
