● RESEARCH ADMINISTRATION: pre-and post-award administration for Division○ Manages submission and financial administration of research grants including federal and foundation awards, federal and industry sponsored clinical trials○ Manages subcontracts, MTAs, DUAs○ Manages effort commitments of key project personnel, and reviews quarterly effort reports ○ Conducts reviews of account balances and expenditures, prepares budget projections○ Serves as liaison between department & other research support departments, internal audit, funding & regulatory agencies, subcontractors, collaborators, institutes, centers, etc. ○ Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies & practices; local, state, federal, agency & sponsor rules, regulations & requirements regarding grant &/or contract administration.

● DIVISION ADMINISTRATION support:○ Assists in annual divisional budget projections and preparation○ Faculty and staff payroll planning, entry, and reconciliation○ Manages division graduate student administration and funding entry○ Submits annual Space Survey for responsible spaces to maintain space productivity metrics○ Coordinates activities related to facilities and equipment for research laboratories ○ Manages Comprehensive Metabolic Core - annual budget development, recharge rate calculations, NUCore administrator○ Assists in faculty affairs administration - faculty and staff (re-)appointments, compliance, international VISAs paperwork preparation ○ Develops, plans, and arranges meetings, workshops, events, etc. Ensures that all logistical details including communication, venues, presenters, travel arrangements, materials, refreshments, and technology are arranged and completed in a timely manner. ○ Provides training to other staff in areas of research and financial administration, and other as needed.
