I'm a Family Doctor, who works training future family doctors, and a GP Oncologist looking after admitted cancer patients.I'm also a reasearcher, working with Statistics Canada to determine the outcomes of cancer screening activities in our country. I'm very interested in the intersection between family medicne and the cancer system, and write and edit the "Oncology Briefs" series in the Canadian Family Physician to increase FP knowledge around cancer care.Together with our Regional Cancer Program, I founded the "Champlain Screening Outreach" program that lets anyone without a Family Doctor in our region access cancer screening.I also work with Thrive Health, developing the "Survivor Advisor", a digital survivorship tool to better support breast cancer survivors and offload pressures on our cancer system.Most importantly, I'm a mother of 4 awesome athletic girls who play hockey and compete internationally as Sprint Canoeists
