I am on the DIY Committee, where I collaborate with fellow members to design and plan event-related DIY activities that enhance the event experience and also encourage student creativity and involvement.In addition to planning, I actively assist in executing events, ensuring they run smoothly and create a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. I take pride in fostering a sense of community on campus, helping to build connections among students from diverse backgrounds.

I had the opportunity to intern at TWT in the transportation department. My role involved a mix of administrative and technical tasks, which gave me a well-rounded experience in the field. I organized and managed paperwork, ensuring that all documents were in order for various projects. My involvement in team meetings was another highlight; I took meeting minutes and developed PowerPoint presentations. One of my key responsibilities was performing quantity checks, which required careful attention to detail to ensure that the project resources were accurately accounted for. I also gained hands-on experience collecting soil samples during boring operations and subsequently classifying them. In addition, I conducted calculations for both pile designs and concrete cap pile designs. I also gained experience with Microstation; I created boring profiles for various projects and designed 2 detour routes. Overall, this internship enhanced my technical skills, particularly in Microstation and engineering calculations, while also improving my organizational and communication abilities. This experience has broadened my professional skill set and also reinforced my desire to pursue a career in civil engineering.
