SAP Implementation Consultant

Provides SAP BYD implementation service for small to medium size companies worldwide. Expertise infinance & accounting operation and project management. So far, done 3 projects which are:- Multinational companies in manufacturing, headquartered in Singapore, implemented 1 legal entity;- Multinational companies in mining project service, headquartered in Singapore, implemented 6 legalentities;- Multinational companies in the Entertainment industry, headquartered in Australia, implemented 66legal entities.

Mainly responsible for end-to-end process of Property project management for projects such asrefurbishment, closure, and relocation of commercial buildings and retail branches, with total costs ofover $100mil a year.Key Achievements:- Simplified the capitalization process and improved the accuracy of the fixed asset and depreciationvalue;- Simplified the process for the financial data being transacted between the project team, externalcontractors, and the offshore accounting team.

It is a 2IC role that directly reports to the CEO and a member of the group executive committee thatmakes the group decision and sets up the business strategy and operational plan. Overseeing theaccounting operation and financial reporting, monitoring the financial performance, the cash flow, andpreparing the group consolidated management reports for all business units in Australia, New Zealand,the US, Germany, and China.Key Achievements:- Transfer pricing structure set up and documentation;- Developed cash flow management process and a new set of group reporting templates;- Business operation process improvement and developed the standard operational procedure;- Set up the production cost management process for the tannery in China;- Initiated and led the SAP BYD implementation country by country.

Acting as the owner representative, overseeing the business operations in Australia, which includesGolf club operation, Resort & Property management. Being the point of contact with Banks, Local Taxauthorities, City councils & external auditors. Establishing and maintaining the relationship with banksfor the working capital loan facility and construction loan.Key Achievements:- Assisted the owner in the acquisition and settlement of the properties and companies;- Worked with KPMG to design the organizational structures and set up the legal entities;- Represented the owner to work with two independent directors and a lawyer on equity share buy-back.The project was kicked off in early 2014 and completed in June 2015.

Assisting the GM in all financial and accounting operation-related matters. Leading and coaching ateam of 6 people. Being a point of contact with banks, external auditors, lawyers, and governmentauthorities.Key Achievements:- Led a deal with the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (BOFTEC) and successfullyclaimed a government subsidiary of US$39,000;- Negotiated an agreement with the tax bureau resulting in a tax refund of US$1.3 Million;- Developed the internal control processes and procedures.

Leading and managing a team of 32 people with day-to-day accounting operations for all the Agenciesbased in China. Acting as the Group Accounting Authority and the primary contact for all financialmatters between Agencies and the Publicis Group in Paris. Responsible for the reconciliation of thefinancial reporting per the local GAAP and the Group A/C rules. Serving as the primary liaison withinternal and external Group auditors. Collaborating with the MD and Country Manager to forecast theShare Service Center (SSC) budgets. Managing the transition of accounting operations as and whenthere is a new acquisition.Key Achievements:- Led the team to clear the aged unreconciled items between local GAAP and Group Policy within onemonth.

Leading and managing a team of 30 people with daily GL and Costing operations for 86 legal entitiesacross the Asia Pacific Region. Overseeing payroll operations for approximately 30,000 employees.Liaising with the regional tax team and group auditors to ensure compliance with local tax regulations inHong Kong and Mainland China. Coordinating with the Regional Treasury team to manage cash flow,supporting the group financing strategy and hedging activities.Key Achievements:- Restructured the team to improve the working efficiency by maximizing the skill set of the teammembers and improving team morale.

Leading and managing a team of 15 people in 6 locations with daily accounting operations inManufacturing and Trading of Lubricant Products. Liaising with the treasury team to set up the cashpooling and financing structure. Responsible for the annual audit and tax filing. Overseeing theAccounting Service Center based in Kuala Lumpur ensures the SLA (Service Level Agreement) is metand the silent running is well maintained.Key Achievements:- Led the team to complete the Corporate Simplification and Accounting Operation Transformationproject;- Developed a new set of production costing methodologies;- Developed a review process for Sales rebates.

Responsible for function cost planning and performance management over the Asia Pacific (ASPAC)Region. Helping the countries to streamline the FIMS (Function Internal Management System).Providing advice and support on business development in China, such as joint discussions withpotential business partners and due diligence checks.Key Achievements:- Developed a function cost reporting and allocation template for ASPAC Region;- Developed the performance and milestone tracking system for Country Heads and the Regional GroupVice President and established the CF&R network in China.

Temporarily covering the Financial Controller to lead the Acetyls Asia Financial Control and Accounting(FC&A) team in Kuala Lumpur. Monitoring the Control Evaluation Templates (CET) annual assertion toensure SOX compliance.Key Achievements:- Developed an economic evaluation template to assist the project team to evaluate different projectscenarios;- Coordinated with the ERP and Shanghai FC&A teams to implement the SAP ECC system.

Financial Analyst - Involving in SAP implementation in FICO, preparing project cost analysis reports;Accounting Manager - Led and managed a team of 10 people with daily accounting operations andmanagement reporting.Key Achievements:- Led the team to develop the Accounting Operation Procedures and SAP end-user operation manual;- Led the team to refine the SAP system configuration to fit the business operation in China;- Led and brought forward the ICE (Internal Control Evaluation) project to meet the group timeline forSOX compliance announcement to the shareholders.
