I'm a human-centered design and research practitioner, leader, and educator who finds joy in helping multi-disciplinary teams create opportunities for rewarding human-technology collaborations. I'm interested in multimodal product ecosystems, graceful human-computer interactions, and thoughtful applications of artificial intelligence. I help a variety of corporate, startup, and academic clients with UX research, design, and strategy. I also teach graduate students at Carnegie Mellon University and co-chair IxDA Pittsburgh. Prior to becoming a consultant, as the Director of Digital User Experience at PPG, I helped establish the UX Center of Excellence, working on B2B and B2C eCommerce. For a decade prior to that, I led the UX team at 3M | M*Modal, a speech recognition & natural language understanding company in the healthcare space.
