    Responsible for designing, developing, and in its first year coordinating the innovative and interdisciplinary master's program “Environment and Society” (2022-), adapting cutting-edge environmental humanities research into pedagogical content. Successfully navigated a complex multi-year legal process to establish the program in full compliance with Bavarian and European higher education standards. Through extensive collaborative talks with scholars and administrators at multiple faculties and departments at LMU Munich, negotiated access for students in the program to over 40 electives from across the university catalogue, spanning the humanities, social, and natural sciences.Conducting research social and environmental change, particularly in maritime environments, as well as on the intersection of environmentalism and integration across the EU. Teaching portfolio at the master's level includes the survey of methods for environment and society, as well as a range of courses with thematic focus on societal and political issues of the environment, including tourism, futures thinking, and understanding types of property and the commons. At the doctoral level, have taught soft skills workshops (together with Alessandro Rippa and Roger Norum) focused on productivity, presentations, writing, and career planning among others.
