Began working at Mona B as website and social media coordinator for their retail department. Daily responsibilities included managing inventory and website design/layout for various e-commerce channels like www.mona-b.com, eBay and Amazon. Other responsibilities included social media management and content creation as well as graphic design for print and digital medias.Eventually was promoted to head designer, taking on this role in addition to existing roles as retail coordinator. Responsibilities as head designer included work in both graphic and fashion design. As lead graphic designer, was responsible for all print and digital ads for both retail and wholesale. Designed a 100+ page print and digital catalog for each season in the gift & accessories industry: Spring/Summer, Mid-season, and Fall/Winter. Also worked on product design and created technical packets with detailed instructions to send to the factory for production of each product. All work was done either in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop.

Contract work for Swensons Drive-In Restaurants. Helped clean up the company's brand image and online presence. Worked on updating/maintaining the company's social media accounts (primarily Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) on a daily basis. Also worked on gaining verification and claiming ownership of all seven locations on sites such as Yelp and TripAdvisor. Generated graphic content and imagery using Adobe Creative Cloud for online and print use. Primary print projects included: window perforation for two locations, a 3' x 5' banner advertising drink specials, and new designs for mugs, takeout bags, cups, and fry bags.

Works with the rest of the sales team to show, promote, and sell the products in the store to customers in a sensible and helpful way. At Buckle, the mission is to "create the best shopping experience for our guests," which is accomplished through product knowledge, customer service skills, and a keen fashion sense. Duties and responsibilities include helping customers find and try on various outfits and products, to keep track of how each customer is being helped by filling out SPGs, and keeping the sales floor looking neat and organized. As an assistant and a leader, I have opening and closing duties, as well as daily tasks like recruiting, managing departments, store planning, visuals, and merchandising.

Worked with Magazine team to develop a concept and design for the TEDxRyersonU magazine that is printed and distributed annually for the TEDxRyersonU conference. Responsibilities included setting and meeting deadlines, brainstorming design concepts, creating design templates and designing spreads in InDesign, and picking artwork to appear in the magazine.

Worked with two other designers to produce a quarterly 160-page magazine that showcases artistic work from current and past Ryerson University students. Main roles included designing spreads, creating master pages, making spreads in InDesign, and ensuring files are suitable for printing. Worked to create a positive residence experience freshmen living in the dorms, and planning educational and social activities. Oversaw 27 freshmen living on her floor.

Served as Creative Director by photographing and outfitting 24 models, conceptualizing a theme for the show, as well as working back-of-house during show. In addition, served as Music Director to hire DJs, and to create playlist and visuals for the show.

Responsible for making sales to customers in store, as well as helping to set-up store displays and processing/organizing new shipments.

As an instructor for the USFSA Learn-to-Skate program, taught young children between the ages of 3-10 years the basics of figure skating at my local ice rink. The USFSA levels taught ranged from Basics 1-3.

As a Senior Project graduation requirement for high school, interned at Winds of Change boutique for two weeks (May 9 - 20). Completed simple retail tasks such as sizing racks, unpacking new shipments, organizing clothing, assisting customers, and making sales. More specialized tasks included designing flyer for boutique's annual charity summer fashion show, and contacting local newspapers to place ads announcing the show. Later prepared a presentation about the internship as a school assignment.
