I Lead and coordinate a multi stakeholder programme aimed at accelerating the transition to Net Zero for cities throughout Europe. This falls under the NetZeroCities Mission and deals with a complex subject matter as well as a vast group of very different stakeholders.

The Circular Economy Masterclass is a 6-week online course delivered by the University of Exeter Business School’s Centre for Circular Economy, and supported by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, it offers an opportunity to learn directly from leading experts in the field of Circular Economy. The course deep dives into value creation, capture and scaling and the capabilities required at different stages. I serve as an industry expert guiding participants during the programme. As Programme Manager in the Learning and Education Team, I focused on advancing the Foundation's learning and education strategy. Collaborating closely with the Lead and my peer, I oversaw key activities, evolving strategy, managing relationships, and spearheading the creation of crucial content and experiences.My multifaceted responsibilities included leading the development of the 'From Linear to Circular' learning program, overseeing 6 to 8-week online courses for general audiences and exclusive online and in-person programs for circular economy experts. Together with the From Linear to Circular team, I designed sessions, hosted webinars and facilitated workshops.These programs had both global and regional focuses, with in-person cohorts meeting in London, Kigali, and Cape Town. Emphasising peer-to-peer learning, mentorship sessions, team-based challenges set by companies, and networking, the program resulted in over 20,000 registrations and a thriving community of alumni. I collaborated extensively with corporate companies, NGOs, higher education institutions, and industry experts to bring this program to life. This accomplishment was very much a joint effort within EMF and with collaborating organisations.I furthermore led the Higher Education and Schools and College programmes. I provided strategic guidance and people management, supporting the team in these areas. Collaborating with universities, I aimed for research and teaching to be key enablers in the transition to the circular economy, connecting stakeholders and knowledge across EMF’s wider network. Additionally, I served as a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for the UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research (NICER) program.

In my role as project manager at Funderingskracht (part of Twinstone), commissioned by the municipality of Rotterdam, I faced the challenge of persuading homeowners in a specific neighbourhood to participate in subsidised foundation research. This was often a delicate matter, given the sensitivity of the topic of foundation issues. I regularly engaged in complex conversations, where I had to communicate with empathy and understanding about the necessity of the research, despite often delivering difficult news. My role not only involved providing advice and support but also facilitating open discussions, organising informative meetings, and maintaining engagement with both homeowners and relevant entities, such as the municipality and research agencies.

The Dutch Research Agenda (NWA) was realised through an innovative process with the input of citizens and scientists, where citizens were able to put questions to scientists. The aim of the NWA is to utilise knowledge to make a positive, structural contribution to the society of tomorrow, by building bridges today and jointly ensuring scientific and societal impact. Our efforts surpassed expectations, with over 15,000 questions from citizens.As Editor and Communications Officer, my responsibilities encompassed:* Working on the communication strategy for the launch of this prestigious initiative, through facilitating media coverage through newspaper articles, television shows (De Wereld Draait Door)and social media platforms. And through collaborating with organisations such as New Scientists, Lowlands, and Kennislink.* Lowlands Science: facilitating the production of engaging short films about science shot at Lowlands Festival. * As part of a collaboration between the Society of Arts and the NWA, I worked the production of a documentary focusing on the interactions between questioners and scientists. The goal was to showcase the essence of the NWA: bringing together science and society. I provided advisory input on topics, facilitated connections, and organised the premiere* Supported the event coordination for EUREKA!, a dynamic day-long festival that drew over 3000 attendees. This interactive event showcased the profound impact of science on our lives, technology, economy, and society, contributing to the broader mission of the NWA to build bridges today for a positive societal impact tomorrow.

As programme manager and curator at Felix Meritis, I shaped and executed a diverse range of events, including debates, lectures, and cultural programs spanning politics, law, literature, active citizenship, philosophy, and the arts. My responsibilities encompassed the entire program lifecycle, from researching subjects and selecting speakers to developing innovative concepts and formats and liaising with our in-house production team. I collaborated with external organisations to enhance the impact of Felix Meritis' programs and handled budget management and crafted funding proposals, I worked closely with the communication manager to ensure our messaging aligned with the organisation's vision and goals. My role was dynamic, with audience sizes ranging from 50 to 2000 people.

At Felix Meritis, I organised various events, ranging from multi-day conferences and weddings to dinners, meetings, and parties, with attendance ranging from 5 to 2000.In my role as Sales and Event Manager, I:* Coordinated inquiries and guided venue visits;* Led the event, drafted proposals, and successfully negotiated agreements;* Coordinated communication between clients and the Production, Technical, and Catering departments;* Maintained oversight during events and served as the primary point of contact;* Was responsible for after-sales, conducting internal and external evaluations, and providing feedback and improvement suggestions;* Ensured efficient financial processing in collaboration with the Finance department.

As project officer for the Pioneers Programme, I worked on a targeted communications campaign, selecting 40 young leaders from Amsterdam and New York City. Project managing the entire program, I organised and co-curated a three-day event in Amsterdam, fostering discussions on sociopolitical issues. Additionally, I successfully orchestrated a 750-person evening program, incorporating talk shows, workshops, and performances to explore themes of social integration. I collaborated with our partner Humanity in Action, and I maintained effective communication with our funders, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate for Citizenship & Integration of the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, and the Ministry for Youth and Families of The Netherlands. This experience allowed me to facilitate cross-cultural dialogue and promote active citizenship in diverse, open cities.

As the Project Officer, I orchestrated all organisational aspects of the in-person program 'Dutch Art of the Golden Age: Tradition and Innovation.' This involved seamless coordination with participants and partner organisations, as well as the planning and execution of various events. My objective was to offer profound insights into the latest developments in Dutch art history, research methodologies, and exhibition projects.This collaborative initiative brought together Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer University, the Rijksmuseum, and the RKD (Netherlands Institute for Art History). Comprising lectures, presentations, workshops, and excursions led by prominent scholars and museum professionals, the program catered primarily to museum curators, PhD candidates, and art historians specialising in 17th-century Dutch art.

AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. It is a non-partisan, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. As a board member of AIESEC Amsterdam I was responsible for facilitating quality experiences for students who want to do an internship project abroad. This entails setting the right expectations, help the exchange participants in their application process and guide them in their leadership development. In addition to this, the board as a whole, was responsible for facilitating the experiences of trainees from abroad in the Netherlands.
