In this role, I also served as the President of a self-funded insurance plan for 2 years and ran all aspects of the plan including claims approval, pharmacy benefit manager liaison, and working with the third party administrator/marketing. This position requires leadership, strategic thinking, financial management, problem solving, event planning, marketing & graphic design, and many more adaptive skills.This position assisted with economic development and tourism efforts in the community. I worked with community partners to ensure the community is thriving in all areas. We also run a 10 day festival that brings in around 100,000 people each year to the community. -
