I have recently graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 (Honours) in Accounting, achieving a 1st in my dissertation. During my course I completed my placement year at Deloitte as an Indirect Tax Analyst, where I worked in the London VAT Team, specialising in Technology, Media, and Telecoms.In September, I will be rejoining Deloitte, starting their Corporate Finance Graduate Scheme, as part of this I will be completing my CFA. At Durham, I have held numerous roles. Being Chair of the Charity Polo Ball, Durham's largest ball, has taught me leadership and organisational skills, as well as problem-solving in situations with high financial responsibility. Being the Publicity Secretary for the Durham Clay Pigeon Club has taught me marketing and communication skills, pushing me creatively to increase audience engagement across social media platforms. Co-founding and being Vice President of the Accounting Society has tested many skills I have developed through determining the structure of a society, going through formal administrative processes, and then taking on leadership. Alongside my academic and leadership roles, I have also continued my sports to high levels. Having previously been on the Hertfordshire rifle team, I have competed nationally for Durham in the Women's A team for Clay Pidgeon Shooting. I have also represented Durham for the Polo Team coming first nationally for multiple years, as well as competing for the Durham Ski Team. I also have continued my public speaking, debating for the Durham Union as well as being interviewed multiple times on LBC regarding issues impacting students and talking on The Lawless Podcast.
