In March 2023 I started a career in aviation with Eastern Atlantic Helicopters. After gaining extensive experience in the field of Special and Inclusive Education, I was offered an opportunity to enter into a completely different industry. Since learning how exciting and fast-paced the aviation world is, I could not let this opportunity pass me by. My role involves sales and client relations, marketing and social media, operational support and assisting the Managing Director. Previously, I worked as an Assessment and Planning Officer at East Sussex County Council within the Inclusion and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities services (ISEND). Prior to that I was a trauma support specialist, working to repair relational trauma following the neurosequential model of therapeutics.I was also a freelance musical theatre practitioner, teaching at two of Ariel Company Theatre’s mainstream academies and one of their SEND groups in Sussex. I led and assisted at Chichester Festival Youth Theatre for a range of their classes, including mainstream, additional needs and ESOL groups.I completed a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education at the Institute of Education, UCL in September 2021 with Merit. I achieved a 2:1 in my undergraduate degree at Bath Spa University in Psychology and Education Studies (BSc Hons), graduating in 2020.
