Annabel has over 15 years’ experience in environmental science and management including consultancy, government advisory roles and ecological research in the UK and Australia, across various sectors including offshore oil and gas, offshore wind, hydrogen, infrastructure and ports. Skills and experience include:- Environmental impact assessments and technical reports- Marine monitoring programs (sediment, water, benthic habitats)- Marine and terrestrial fauna monitoring survey design for a wide variety of taxa using numerous methods.- Coordination of large-scale fauna monitoring programs.- Environmental data management and analysis, including ecological and population modelling, and statistical analysis.- Preparation of approval strategies and environmental approval documents under the Environmental Protection Act 1986, Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006, Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources (Environment) Regulations 2012 and the Offshore Energy Infrastructure Act 2021- Desktop studies including Geographical Information Systems (GIS) projects.- Preparation and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies.- Project management and client liaison.
