Strategic guidance for the "Dignity by Design" built environment programme. This includes the global project: "Building for Today and the Future", which links research and visioning on climate and social impact in eight cities up to international framing and advocacy.

Designed and led the built environment program for IHRB: advancing climate action and human rights throughout the built environment lifecycle, from land use, planning and finance, through design, construction and use, to re-development.

I found and lead creative projects to build community in New York City:1. NYC 51-1: As the city responds to climate and COVID and starts to get back on its feet, this project is hearing from people in all 51 council districts about their meaningful places, and visions for the future. See: www.51to1.org 2. "30th Ave - A Year in the Life of a A Street": In 2011 I interviewed one person a week who lives or works along 30th Avenue in Astoria, Queens, NYC for this project. The project was covered in New York media, the Greater Astoria Historical Society held an exhibition of its photos, and the interviews are now part of Queens Memory Project's digital collection. ALIGN is an alliance of community and labor united for a just and sustainable New York. I oversaw ALIGN's research and communications, built relationships across the city, co-ordinated a coalition to transform the city's private waste industry, and participated in ALIGN's management and strategy development.

I joined the Resource Centre in 2003 as the second employee, and helped to grow it into a thriving international non-profit with over 30 staff based in ten countries (now there are even more!). I directed the Centre's programs on labor rights, the Middle East and Asia and established its program on climate justice.I established the Centre’s New York City office in 2007, and played an important role in fundraising in the US and beyond.
