We love the nostalgia and fun of traditional alphabet magnets but thought it was a waste that they couldn't actually hold anything on the fridge (not to mention being kind of ugly...). So we set about redesigning an icon.Wordbits are alphabet magnets that actually hold stuff. They are set in our own award-winning typeface, use post-consumer recycled plastic, have a stylish matte finish and are available in an elegant colour palette. After convincing friend and ex-colleague Shanna Hermansen to join me, we launched our side-project on Kickstarter in September 2019 and met the funding goal in just 4 days. During manufacturing we have faced a steep learning curve, personal challenges and covid-19 curve balls but are as motivated and inspired as ever to deliver an excellent product to our Kickstarter Backers, early supporters and retail stockists.

Stitchbird have designed a clever little rowboat that you can build yourself in less than 3 weeks, with no experience or specialist tools required. Everything you need to build your own wooden boat is included in the kit.

My role at EPI was broad; I joined at a relatively early stage as a freelance Head of Marketing and Management Team member reporting directly to the CEO. I was responsible for naming, trademarking, positioning and branding Europe's homegrown digital wallet, called "Wero" (which will launch in mainland Europe late 2024 to compete with offshore payment giants such as PayPal). During my time at the European Payments Initiative I I developed the early marketing strategy, built the team, appointed the roster of agencies, developed the parent company branding for EPI Company and led the go-to-market brand and marketing strategy.
