When I get a project as project manager I like to be one of the copywriters, because that is how I get to know the client and the industry, by asking a lot of questions and writing about their subject. Once I find a good direction and we have a solid plan, I share tasks with my teammates. Things I’m proud of:Companies still use the DM’s I wrote for them 7-8 years ago, because these copies still generate leads and income.Articles which have been published on HVG, Index, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Blikk, 24.hu, Origo, Pénzcentrum. My clients got invited for interviews both in television and radio channels.Clients also seem to be happy to work with me, many friendships started out as work relationships. :)I enjoy learning from the best Hungarian companies as we brainstorm creative campaigns or key messages that resonate with their target audience. Getting to know a target audience is not about sales for me, it is a puzzle to be solved. It is a bit like being a secret agent as well as a therapist, I need to know what people do and think and why in order to effectively communicate with them. After I write a copy, I look at the numbers. It is not enough for me when statistics are good, I also want that ‘wow effect’ when people engage with the subject.My job in PR is to take an everyday subject, like making doors, and write an interesting article about it so it makes it to the news. During the interview. I ask the client a lot of questions to get good stories, insights about their field. I find the most newsworthy part of the subject and lead with that to get people’s attention. I believe in brave and honest communication as a human being and as a copywriter. I see all the time that the best campaigns are the ones that started with a goofy, surprising idea and not by just following the trends.I encourage companies that I work with and beginner copywriters whom I mentor to bring their personalities to the table because marketing and company communication doesn’t have to be boring.
