As the advisor I collaboratively work with managers and cross functional teams to develop their talent and streamline ways of working. I am responsible for delivering people initiatives and providing HR consultation to improve Compassion’s ability to attract, retain and develop a highly engaged workforce. The key focus areas of my role my responsibilities include: HR Business Partner: Providing people managers with coaching and development in relation to performance management for both their overall team and individual team members.Projects: Development and implementation of HR projects including creating the strategy for the project, initial analysis, requirements gathering, project proposals, vendor selection (where required) and execution of project plan including project evaluation and ongoing support.HR ER/IR Advice: Supporting managers through formal processes such as performance management processes, end of employment and providing consultation and advice to managers and employees about HR policies, guidelines and procedures.Systems & Processes: Providing effective and timely HR service delivery to managers and employees and ensuring accurate and up to date HR information is available. Managing end to end recruitment, induction, onboarding and offboarding processes.

Over my time at Snelleman Tom I was exposed to many aspects of the business from accounting administration to the insurance department. My role included providing high level administration assistance across the business with my main role focused on coordinating the human resource management of the firm and providing high level executive assistance to the managing director of the firm. Responsibilities of the role included: • Running the end to end recruitment process including: Sorting through CV’s, replying to candidates, organising interviews, preparing employment agreements and letters of offer, organising & leading inductions and onboarding of employees• Arranging legal advice and liaising with lawyers on any HR matters where required • Managing HR documentation for all employees and ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and compliance with legislative requirements • Organising the firm-wide performance management process including drafting performance review letters on behalf of the managers • Leading organisational change in the human resources department and consulting with the CEO on various HRM IssuesExecutive assistance to the CEO of the business: • Managing inbox including reading, replying & organising emails• Managing calendar including liaising with clients & other executives to arrange meetings • Preparing letters on behalf of the CEO• Providing an hourly list of action points to the CEO and working through the tasks to be completed alongside the CEO• Completing timesheet entries on an hourly basis • Organising events on behalf of the CEO including preparation for meetings and functions such as networking events with other businesses • Preparing presentations on their behalf including PowerPoints, brochures, forms and spreadsheets using the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
