I am currently working on Block Island for the summer as the kitchen manger. My duties include ordering produce, dairy and fish, coming up with menu specials, helping staff with questions, techniques and working the expo station as well as the line we also host weddings at the inn. I am learning so much here and I love what I do.

I worked at Connecticut Valley Brewery and Birdhouse Coffee as the lead line cook. It is a brewery that has an attached coffee house with the addition of a brand new kitchen as of last May. My responsibilities include opening each morning and prepping for breakfast. Once we open I run breakfast service from 7-12. I worked at Dairy Queen over the summer to gain some experience in a professional kitchen. My duties included cooking off burgers, using fryalators, making sandwiches, restocking supplies and closing cleaning duties. I read orders off and completed them timely and efficiently. When needed I stepped in to help coworkers.
