• Commercial lead on extracting Ten from an outsourced sales arrangement, transitioning sales to Ten thereby regaining control of gross ad revenue. • Enabled Ten to launch its 2022 Rocket Strategy in 2018, by collaboratively leading the design and implementation of an inclusive strategy to position Ten for the future and address under investment in the business. • Established and led a cross-functional COVID response team. Managed all aspects of Ten's response including programming and production protocols, business continuity planning, employee health and safety for essential on-site staff, and communications with internal and external stakeholders• Directed the commercial litigation strategy that led to a multi-million dollar valuation being paid to Ten, while concurrently managing negotiations with both TXA and Broadcast Australia for provision of transmission services• Vastly improved internal communications, leadership and cohesive strategy, by appointing new Head of Internal Communications and interstate GMs, and guiding them in general management to improve engagement and represent Ten in the local market. Established the policy, regulatory and government relations function at Virgin Mobile Australia during a two month consultancy. Developed Virgin Mobile's initial policy and government affairs strategy.

Acting Chief of Staff, Acting Press Secretary. Providing high level and accurate analysis, research and political advice to the Minister on policy, issues management, media strategy, government programs and legislation in the areas of broadcasting, information economy and copyright. Managing high-level, sensitive relationships with stakeholders including media proprietors, industry and community groups. Building relationships with parliamentarians and their staff on all sides of politics. Liaising with the Department of communications and regulatory bodies such as the Australian Competition Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Australian Broadcasting Authority (ABA). Negotiating Parliamentary carriage of complex and controversial legislation without a Government majority in the Senate.

Established and was the inaugural Executive Officer of the Australian Digital Alliance, a peak body representing the interests of copyright users and innovators with a wide membership across numerous industry sectors including schools, universities, libraries, software companies. The ADA quickly became an influential voice in Australia and globally and remains so today. Responsibilities: developing ADA policy and submissions; advocating ADA policy publicly including with the media; representing the ADA and copyright user interests in international fora; managing budget and organisational governance.

Providing legal and policy advice on copyright and related issues to the Attorney-General and other government departments, and on the consistency of legislative proposals with Australia’s obligations under international law.

Advising libraries around Australia on policy, legislation and compliance with the Copyright Act and other relevant legislation through publications, instructional seminars for librarians and other material. Advocating ACLIS policy in position papers and submissions to government and law reform bodies on copyright and related issues. Presenting and advocating for libraries and library users at major international copyright conferences.
