This position has given me the insight to the many services surrounding children in care. Within this role I was responsible for a case load of young people whom I was responsible for their yearly health assessments and the administration of all work surrounding such and the writing of dr reports, appointment organisation and excel data management.

Working with children in care and young adults leaving care within the Local authority. Supporting their needs and interests whilst ensuring this particular group of young people have their voices heard and needs met. My position allowed me to build relationships with other local authorities, network with many professionals and later led to my involvement within the local authorities care leavers strategy, children's commissioners meetings and many other national schemes.

Participating in the facilitation and running of a summer camp for local children with disabilities and learning difficulties. This was a temporary position over the course of the British summer holidays.
