I’m a science communicator who works to create impact and evidence-led change that makes the world better. I love communicating complex information simply. I strongly believe that good science communication can accelerate research adoption, deepen public thinking and shift mindsets. For the past six years I worked with researchers leading mission-led, transdisciplinary, multi-institute research programmes, helping them communicate science within the highly interdependent food and fibre system, to audiences on the front line of climate change, technological disruption, rapidly changing consumer demand and regulatory uncertainty. As an editor and journalist, I was drawn to covering the environment, health and technology. I co-founded a sustainable living magazine and discovered a knack for behaviour change communications, focused on environmental outcomes. I later led comms for an NGO supporting people with a life-limiting condition, which required thoughtful communication with warmth and sensitivity to a highly stressed community. I have a great reputation for producing warm, engaging, and accurate content. I'm constantly learning, tech-savvy, strategically minded, and really enjoy connecting people and ideas.
