Every year, the TCD Economics Department selects several high-calibre economic students to act as research assistants so that they may support lecturers in their various research projects. As a research assistant, I sourced and analysed agricultural data from 1920s Ireland and researched agricultural policy decisions using the Oireachtas Debates archive.

As the Debates Manager of the Review, my chief roles were as follows;• Organised Intervarsity Debates with Cambridge and Harvard.• Organised workshop with Nobel Prize winner, Angus Deaton.• Co-edited articles for the journal.Also spoke in the Trinity vs. Yale debate (2015), having participated in highly contested trials.
