Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Biltmore Estate was the vision of George W. Vanderbilt. Designed by Richard Morris Hunt, the 250-room French Renaissance chateau is America’s largest home. On exhibit is the Vanderbilt family’s original collection of furnishings, art and antiques. The estate is a National Historic Landmark and encompasses 8,000 acres.

Following my 2017 summer internship with Biltmore, I returned upon request in 2018 to fill in for my past supervisor who was on leave. I was responsible for seeing my supervisor's projects through and managing all her correspondence. Specific jobs included scheduling, contracting, and organizing payment for over 100 Biltmore House musicians and performing.

During my first summer as a Corporate Intern with Biltmore, I worked with Entertainment and Event Programming to plan aspects of the Candlelight Christmas event which involved constructing and sending artists’ contracts and creating a 3-month performance schedule that accommodated over 100 choirs and bands.
