I am an occupational therapist and assistive technology practitioner currently working as an assistant professor and the academic capstone coordinator at Methodist University. I am also an assistive technology consultant for a startup in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I've worked in early intervention, outpatient pediatrics, and schools as an occupational therapist and in program development. I focus my clinical, program development, and research efforts in the area of pediatric complex care. My post-professional clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy launched a variety of research projects and associated national and international presentations. My career goals include empowering the next generation of occupational therapists to provide quality assistive technology services, consulting for AT companies on accessibility and universal design, and partnering with the disability community to bring legislative change for equity of access.
