Highly experienced credit underwriter reviewing applications for home mortgages in both purchasing and refinancing. Daily work included review of property titles, homeowners insurance, credit and income review. In addition to underwriting, additional responsibilities included mentoring and training peers, testing new systems/program development, and additional special projects.

Originated mortgage loans for home purchases and refinances. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and underwriting difficult, complex loan requests with set deadlines while meeting various product requirements with company, industry, and government guidelines.

Promotion to an auditing underwriting role. Performing second look reviews on highly complex and high risk mortgage loan accounts.

Underwriting and restructuring mortgage loans that were currently in default or foreclosure. Offering solutions for more affordable payments allowing customers to bring their loans out of foreclosure and retain home ownership. Began underwriting 11/2011 low risk accounts. By 7/2012 was underwriting at the highest risk level and was promoted from Underwriter I to Underwriter II.

Connecting with customers during hard financial times. Processing mortgage modification requests with varying financial and credit complexity. Quickly moved from Level 1 to Level 2 specialist becoming a mentor to peers and go-to source.

Hired full time upon graduation. On track to become a project architect, earning NCARB hours and experience toward licensing. Experience included construction document drafting, 3D Modeling with Revit and SketchUp, project marketing, consultant coordination, code analysis, and sustainable design work. Projects included high-end residential condominiums, mixed-use apartments, colligate educational facilities, office buildings, and a remodel of a recreational facility.

Began a summer internship in a nation wide architectural and engineering company. Worked on projects in all states of construction including working on construction documents for primarily commercial office buildings.
