Working as part of a £20m European programme across the North West to shape future investment in the water environment. By working in collaboration with a range of organisations, we have been able to identify and deliver shared outcomes that will achieve the greatest benefit for people and wildlife.

I manage a team that support & direct the business to focus delivery of environmental outcomes acrtoss Lancashire & Cumbria. We use evidence to help inform our decisions and actively engage with the area teams to stay aware of the current environmantal issues.

The CRC team works with DECC to support business and industry to fulfill its role in complying with the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.Working within Climate Change regulation has enabled me to be much more focussed on our customers and how to provide the best quality of service in a technical regime.

I supported the delivery of the 1st River Basin Management plan for the NW. Working across the business and with external partners we produced our first 5 year plan for the water environment.This work area has provided me with many skills & experience to bring to the Intergrated Environment Planning team to help shape and direct their work.
