Managing a small team of amazingly talented colleagues and the Ty Hafan Counselling Project, whilst continuing to provide Child Centred Play Therapy, Therapeutic Life Story Work and systemic emotional support for children with life-shortening illness and their families.

Children in need funded post, providing 1:1 Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and group therapy to siblings of and children with life limiting illnesses. Reasons for young person referral include but are not limited to: trauma or emotions around death, dying and bereavement, exposure to abuse and neglect, attachment issues, identity issues and challenging behaviour following transplant, expression and acceptance of disease progression and physic health decline. Working closely with families and the systems around the child. Also facilitate more directive therapeutic intervention, depending on need, which has a variety of focuses, including pre and post bereavement interventions, memory work, play and emotional support and mentoring.

Part time position working with a range of young people with a mental health or learning disability diagnosis. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple summer play schemes, home visiting, arranging inclusive activities, creative problem solving, line management of staff and strong knowledge of child protection procedures.

Running a project trialling out an adjusted evaluation tool to measure the quality of palliative care from patient and care perspectives. Main duties: Research design;Creation of study documents;REC submission;Data collection via structured cognitive interviewing schedule;Qualitative analysis using NVivo10;Report writing and disseminating research.

Main duties included: Conducting internationally disseminated UNCRC research. Youth participation and engagement: Facilitating communication between young people and Welsh Government to influence strategies. Use of clinical skills to engage and train NEETs.
