Digital Marketing Manager (Wevu)
I led digital marketing at Wevu, part-of the Westcoast Group. It was a start-up digital movie platform with a twist; they also had a selection of movie cards in over 450 Tesco stores. In my role I set the strategy across content, SEO, paid, digital PR, social, affiliates, influencers, and studio marketing partnerships. I had to coordinate my strategy between our business, multiple big movie studios (Warner, Disney etc) and Tesco to ensure plans were executed and everyone was on board.Key achievement:I coordinated campaigns with some of the top studios, e.g. Warner Bros, Paramount, Disney, and Sony. I had to win their trust quickly to allow us to bring our own spin to the campaigns and even suggest campaign ideas.

We worked with gamers, staff and other brands to show that we are specialists in our market. I used data and insight to understand how to converse with our audience in the way they want to be talked to. So that we could embrace a video games industry that is fun and exciting. We had multiple award-winning campaigns, including the viral Christmas Tinner, Microsoft's The Next Big Influencer, and PlayStation Search for the Shapes.Channels my team looked after: social, video, SEO, messenger services, paid ads, programmatic, content, digital messaging, affiliates, influencers (plus anything else digital that enhanced our strategy)
