The Around Project's mission is to support and nurture the online presence of Coastal independent businesses.How do we do this?Not only do we provide a free platform for local businesses to gain exposure, quickly and easily, we're also committed to offering additional services such as design, web building, branding and app development.Coastal commerce shouldn't be a Summer trend but a year-round opportunity. We want to bridge the gap, and connect customers with great local produce all year round. We are a digital platform that champions local heroes at a granular level. We want to provide a free platform that showcases small businesses in the best way, so they can focus on what they do best whilst knowing that The Around Project is representing their site whilst providing digital support and training.The Around Project’s platform is free to use for visitors and offers a free listing service for businesses with additional enhanced chargeable services.

I founded The Ring Sling Company after feeling alienated by many babywearing products on the market that felt frumpy and 'mumsy'. I wanted a mother to be gifted a sling, and feel that it's for her, not her baby, to feel elegant and fashionable whilst also meeting her baby's needs. We are proudly plastic-free, made in the UK and most importantly, organic. Organic means that all of our cotton is purchased from GOTS certified mills without the use of toxic substances and with employees being paid a fair wage. I am incredibly proud to be at the helm of this little business, keeping the planet happy whilst providing parents with the tools to get stuff done.

As part of the Vendor Relations team, we work with the top brands in the Consumer electronics industry to supply Brandpath’s channels, such as Expansys and Data Select, with innovative and ground breaking product. My role includes project management, design and developing creative sales strategy’s to ensure success. It is also my responsibility to engage with vendors on a daily basis, attend trade shows and conferences and planning every stage of a campaign. Currently focussing on the world of connected home. Project managed the production of Data Select's 3 range brochures (writing, designing, producing) on Drones, Connected Life and VR. Taking ownership and responsibility of the Expansys UK newsletters and the Expansys UK blog. Attending conferences and exhibitions to handpick exciting new ranges and building relationships with contacts made at said events.With an extensive international footprint of 51 ecommerce markets, supported by local language content, local currency and payment mechanisms coupled with local/regional/global shipping solutions – Expansys has established a unique international infrastructure for brands looking to sell their products and services online globally.

Worked in the Fabric department and gathered orders of tweed for companies such as Jack Wills and Hardy Amies. Researched for product range development and developed pattern drawing skills.

Helped with the design and creation of bespoke gowns for international clients. Measured for clients and partook in the structuring of toiles. Learnt about cutting and buying fabric and handmade customised designs.
