In the Mercy Works program, both undergraduate and graduate students engage in weekly service, working together in small groups to encounter people on the margins of the South Bend community. As a member of the core team, l plan and implement MercyWorks events, attend meetings with university staff to give student input on the program, and generate ideas to grow the program and recruit others to serve in South Bend.

Greet visitors to the Basilica, answer questions, and lead personalized tours that give insight into the rich history of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame and the university that surrounds it.

Camp Kesem Notre Dame

Plan and execute the largest fundraiser for the Notre Dame chapter of Camp Kesem. Fundraiser gala expected to have over 60 attendees and raise over 20,000 dollars to support our camp.

Camp Kesem Notre Dame

Camp counselor at a week-long summer camp for children facing a parent’s cancer. Camp is free for all attendees and offers a unique opportunity for campers to leave the burden of a parent’s cancer behind and just be a kid again while having a strong support system of mental health professionals, counselors, and camp friends who have the shared experience of facing a parent’s cancer.
