Passionate and motivated scientist, working to complete my undergraduate degrees in chemistry and physics through the University of Utah and planning to pursue a doctoral degree in nuclear or particle physics after graduation. Enthusiastic about creating a stronger undergraduate community in the Physics and Astronomy Department at the University of Utah, I have served on the University of Utah's Undergraduate Student Advisory Committee (USAC) for more than one year, first as an officer, and currently as the committee chair. As well as serving on USAC, I have spent nearly three consecutive years with the organization Undergraduate Woman in Physics and Astronomy (UWomPA) and as the vice-president for the past year, I have worked to increase female representation and support in the department. Looking to refine my interest in physics and astronomy, I have been working as an undergraduate student researcher with the Telescope Array Project, an experiment designed to observe air showers induced by high-energy cosmic rays, for nearly three consecutive years.
