As Marketing Manager, I wrote, produced, and managed projects for a variety of digital assets aimed at engaging Roadie's end users, from in-product messaging to drip campaigns to social media posts. I created holistic, multichannel onboarding flows for new users on our mobile and web apps and created and executed launch plans for new product and feature releases across our web, mobile and API products. Utilizing my experience as a digital video creator, I wrote, produced and directed videos that educated our users about our app, new features and important updates – collaborating with product, sales, account and support to create comprehensive educational content. I also led the switchover to Braze, an omnichannel communications platform that we used to distribute context-aware content to specific audience segments via SMS, in-app messaging, push notifications, and email.

Working alongside our Digital Video Team, I created engaging video content for The Weather Channel app and social media outlets. I also managed organic and paid content for The Weather Channel Facebook page, driving traffic to weather.com and reporting on each campaign. With our Branded Content Team, I worked alongside our Ad & Sales teams to deliver top-quality content for our sponsors, from articles to slideshows to videos – and organic and paid social posts as well.

This is where I got my start working social media magic on The Weather Channel's social accounts. I also wrote articles and slideshows focused on breaking weather news, science, technology, nature, travel, health and more.

I programmed social media posts for Mother Nature Network's websites while also providing written and photographic content for articles, slideshows and quizzes. — Photo & Social Media Editor, FromtheGrapevine.comI created content and directed the focus of photography during the launch of the brand-new website, FromtheGrapevine.com. I worked in conjunction with the division marketing team to manage incoming and outgoing marketing communications, both internally and with clients. I disseminated Georgia Aquarium's message through social media engagement as well as website development. I interviewed, hired, and trained new writers and photographers for the online edition of The Signal, Georgia State University's newspaper. In addition to being an editor for these writers and photographers, I maintained the online paper and uploaded new content frequently.

I covered newsworthy events, students, and issues affecting the Georgia State University community for online publication and print publication in Arts & Living, the largest section of our student newspaper, providing my own photojournalism to accompany my articles.

I produced written content for the Division of International Conservation's Global Program as they redesigned their website, I edited photos via PhotoShop, scanned 35 mm slides onto the computer, as well as created presentations and brochures.
