Anna Coker, LPCS, LCAS is the Founder and President of Northeastern Professional Counseling, PC, a thriving Counseling practice in the heart of Northeast North Carolina. While the knocks of life has been Anna's greatest teacher, she holds a Master's in Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a Licensed Addiction Specialist. Her passion is steeped in offering services that result in paradigm-shifting change, which starts with believing in the full potential of those she serves.While therapeutic work is Anna's first love, she thrives in educating people on the use and effects of alcohol - the most lethal, legal drug in our society. She is a NC Certified DWI services provider and takes this education to State and Government facilities, schools, hospitals and colleges, sharing an evidenced-based program that has shown to prevent alcohol abuse and decrease alcohol-related recidivism. Outside the office, you can find Anna playing with her son, who she wants to be when she grows up, spending time with her her harness-horse racing husband or elbow deep in soil, planting anything that flowers.
