I curate exhibitions and displays at the Natural History Museum, working with a wide range of colleagues to tell accurate and inspiring stories about the natural world. My role involves carrying out research, selecting specimens and objects for display, writing exhibition text, and developing creative interpretive approaches to communicate key messages and engage target audiences. Developed content and contributed to the development of the overall narrative, interpretation and design for 'Robots: 500 Years of Making Machines Human' (2017) and 'The Sun: Living with Our Star' (2018) - major temporary exhibitions which featured at the Science Museum and toured to international venues.In this role I was responsible for conducting content research, developing the exhibition narrative, object selection, and writing exhibition text, as well as writing briefs and contributing to the development of animations, films, and physical interactives.Throughout both projects, I built and maintained relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders including scientific advisors and object lenders and successfully negotiated key, high profile object loans and acquisitions. On The Sun exhibition, I also managed the content programme; ensuring the content team delivered to schedule and represented the Lead Curator at key meetings.

Developed content and contributed to the narrative, interpretation, and design of 'Cravings Can your Food Control You' - a small temporary exhibition which featured in in the 'Antenna' (contemporary science) gallery in 2015. Responsible for research, exhibition text writing, and the development of hands-on and digital interactives which were produced in collaboration with scientists from Oxford University.In this role I also assisted with with the development and delivery of a varied events programme which helped to engage visitors with recent scientific and technological developments. I managed the Science Musuems' “Live Science” programme, an ongoing project which offers biomedical researchers the opportunity to enhance their public engagement skills while carry out research in the museum with visitor volunteers.
