My experience has been across a number of high profile projects internationally including Australia, the UK, the Middle East and the Americas.I have led a number of projects to achieve world leading sustainability ratings utilising the Green Star rating tool in Australia. I have a particular passion for green building design that facilitates not only a better built solution but creates a positive lasting legacy for future generations.I am a WELL Accredited Professional achieving WELL AP status in 2016 becoming one of the first trained and certified WELL APs in Australia. I have a growing interest in human sustainability objectives, improving conditions not only for occupants but also all people throughout the supply chain. I am also passionate about integrating circular economy principles into building design.With previous experience as a Building Systems Engineer at Buildings Alive I have an intimate insight into challenges faced in the existing buildings space (commercial office, shopping centres and hospitals). This is an area I believe needs more focus and effort across the industry. I also thoroughly enjoyed working with property portfolios and their operational staff facilitating collaborative learning and knowledge sharing amongst building/portfolio management teams.Previous experience in Arup’s Advanced Technology and Research team means I have a wide range of experience in building physics ranging from internal and external comfort analysis and daylight analysis. I also have software development experience having worked in Arup’s Oasys BEANS development team from 2012-2014. I worked on a variety of UK building and infrastructure projects, most notably platform comfort studies for various stations on the Crossrail development, daylight and internal comfort studies for the Shard and PV and overshadowing analysis for the London Bridge Station redevelopment. I also worked on a variety of large masterplan projects in various climate zones around the world with a specific interest in adaptive comfort and visualising thermal comfort metrics for non-technical clients.
