More than 30 years of experience in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation.I can deliver excellent quality at an affordable rate.Born and raised in Guatemala, educated in an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a Second language.Most recently lived in Mexico for more than 20 years working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey International, Skyline Builders, and as a Real Estate and Tourism representative at Riviera Maya for 5-plus years. During my employment at Riviera Maya, I wrote and translated website content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos” (Trust Agreements between foreign buyers and Mexican Banks who administer trusts for the benefit of non-Mexican real estate buyers).My approach to text translation does not entail the use of commercially available translation software - I prefer to translate original text focusing on the mean, high-quality, translation service at the most affordable prices. I have a degree in Biochemistry, which has given me ample knowledge of biological, medical, and chemical terms.I have experience with OSHO and quality control systems, medical instruments, clinical and research cases. I have also worked for more than 5 years in the mining industry, translating training manuals, courses, and employee guides.I have a degree in Translation (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) and editing in Spanish (Corrección de Textos).I do not use any translation software. I like to translate the meaning of the words and their significance just as the author intended to, instead of giving just the mechanical translation.
