About Anna D.

I've been fortunate to work in in a variety of positions enabling and driving data-driven decision-making across many domains. I enjoy tackling new problems in new disciplines, learning new things, and challenging myself. As a manager, I love helping people grow, discover their strengths, and thrive in their work environment.Research-wise, I am particularly interested in deriving causal effects in complex, high-dimensional, messy data and communicating these results to non-technical audience to drive actionable decisions that improve public health and patient outcomes. I thrive in collaborative environments where we are working together to answer important questions that don't have straightforward answers. In my spare time, I am an adjunct faculty member at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, developing and teaching data science courses. Outside of data science and machine learning, I perform improv and sketch comedy, ride old steel bikes, and (re)-watch Parks and Rec.
