Graduate course focusing on Native American literature instruction and respectful ways of incorporating it in grades 7-12 classrooms.• ENT 442: Teaching Oral Language and Media Literacy, one of three required English methods courses. Used a blended online/f2f classroom approach, best instructional practices/modeling, and heavy focus on literacy 2.0 strategies. Blend of practical/theoretical demonstration and discussion for pre-service teachers.• ENT 440: Teaching Writing, methods course for English teachers in training. Focus on practical teaching strategies from designing writing experiences to teaching the writing process. • ENT 441: Teaching Reading and Literature, methods course in secondary reading and literature instruction to pre-service teachers; demonstrate best practice pedagogy in literacy instruction, including supporting readers at all skill levels and engaging students in literature appreciation and response.
