Anna Jones’s 20+ year career has spanned major performing arts management, freelance project/event delivery, boutique small business and now health research support. Starting in sponsorship and governance roles with Queensland’s state orchestra, ballet, theatre and opera companies, Anna soon developed a passion for new/pilot projects including national emerging artist mentoring for the Australia Council, citywide international student initiatives for Brisbane Marketing, and culminating in the creation of pet food venture Suburban Pup. Her large scale work includes producing for QPAC, programming for Woodford Folk Festival, and stopping river traffic with fireworks for Tourism Australia. Her small to medium sector experience includes board membership for Ausdance Qld, volunteer management for Women of the World and lecturing for JMC Academy. Anna's current focus is supporting health and ageing research as part of a university team, based in a hospital precinct.
