I am currently a Youth Services Specialist at the beautiful Blount County Public Library in Maryville, Tn. You may ask, " What does that job title entail?" Well, I plan and implement programs for the children's department , as well as getting to play guitar and share music with little learners in our weekly story times. You may also find me doing fun STEM projects…e.g. how many rubber bands does it take to pop a pumpkin, or maybe having a rubber chicken fling….or you may find me in the stacks shelving and arranging books, or helping our local patrons, big and small, find that special book within our huge collection! I get the privilege of meeting and greeting a lot of good folks in our community. So if you're in town, drop by, get a hot or cold beverage and a snack from our cafe and enjoy all the things the Blount County Public Library has to offer. And oh, while you're here, stop by and say "Hey"!
