Originally hired as an Administration Assistant in Jun 2016, I was promoted to my current position within 6 months after demonstrating my Marketing and Event Coordinating experience. I am accountable for event coordination within the company, including major events, (International Conference 2017 was a highlight.) I follow through all events from conception to completion, involved in all negotiations with stakeholders and hiring of auxiliary staff. Through this I also manage all Marketing, including flyer development, social media posts and campaigns. There is also a managerial aspect to my position, I onboard all new franchisees, train all staff and manage a compliance team. A highlight was being able to develop a training manual for staff which is used towards Professional Development. As with most jobs I also perform administrative functions such as reporting, emailing and following through the chain of command.

This was a contract role at Byrne Baby Byrne. I was accountable for event management and ensuring each event was innovative, branded and obviously revenue- generating! This also incorporated social media management and marketing of the events to ensure they aligned with the customer's wishes. An event I feel was a personal success was assisting in the logistics, planning and management of the “Be Great, Do Good” 2016 Campaign fronted by QLD Reds/ Wallaby Player Ben Daley.

This role had an emphasis on office management, I excelled at all administrative functions. I was able to compile weekly Excel Sheets to track media schedules. update web content, minor marketing duties and was a face of the business. This role helped me gain an awareness in marketing and media.

I was accountable for driving new business, selling new products, ensuring promotions were on point and merchandising standards were high and initiatives were driven through retailers. This involved reporting sales, reaching KPI targets and ensuring grow volume. High customer service focused position with an emphasis on sales, but also ensuring the customer/ retailers were happy with products and making sure complaints were dealt with promptly and resolved.
