I am currently a first year at the Kelley School of Business, majoring in Marketing. I have a passion for collaborating with others, making a difference in my community, and teamwork. I have demonstrated these skills in a range of positions. In my senior year of high school, I took on varsity captain of the girl's tennis team, participated in SPARK club, National Honors Society, and worked five days a week. During this, I led practices for the varsity team making exercises and drills to enhance skills while also creating bonding activities outside of the court to bring our team closer together. In SPARK, I helped coordinate suicide prevention weeks and substance abuse. Striving to improve people's mental health and to understand they are not alone, there are many resources. I kept my grades up and had 20+ hours of volunteer work while also working 5-6 hours a night.Currently at Indiana University, I am heavily focusing on my courses and starting to get more involved. I am branching out to find clubs and activities I am interested in. I joined Kappa Delta in Greek life here at Indiana University. Also, I am in CRU at IU to further my religion. And participate in Gift of Life at IU, focusing on making a difference in the lives of those battling blood cancer.I hope to further my involvement by potentially joining a business fraternity and the Women in Business club at The Kelley School of Business. I also plan to continue growing my strengths of interpersonal skills, problem solving, and marketing. I am excited to start my search for an internship in the future. Primarily, I see myself pursuing a career in marketing, bringing my skills to the business world, and improving business for organizations and communities as a whole.
