I am responsible for the strategic delivery of key elements of the Trust’s communications strategy. I lead and oversee the development of internal communications, media relations and manage key external stakeholder relationships. I also provide insight and guidance about the Trust's digital channels. I work closely with the Trust’s executive directors and senior managers, providing support and advice to a wide array of organisational projects.

I was responsible for media relations in support of the charity's varied campaigning and parliamentary activity. I worked closely with the campaigns team on a range of issues and policy affecting people with hearing loss, gaining political support, and devising and implementing media strategies that got coverage in national, regional and specialist trade media, and across print, online and broadcast outlets.

I started my PR and communications career at the National Housing Federation - London region.I built my expertise on specialist affordable housing related issues across London, drafting materials that involved complex housing policy. I worked with local and regional press, highlighting the great work of housing associations across London boroughs. Other work included organisational and press activities for the London region's large scale conferences and events, managing regular, informal ’Communications Network' events, and developing key marketing materials.
