Responsibilities:• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures• Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery and GPs• Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment • Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health• Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)• Performing office management tasks that require the use of a PC and professional software, such as documenting dental care services by charting in patient records and invoice management

Responsibilities:• Perform examinations and procedures to patients with mental disorders and addictions• Diagnose diseases, order treatments, and prescribe medications accordingly• Obtain and analyze medical histories utilizing database systems to understand patients better
