● Patient admissions to operating theatre, checking completion of all necessary documents, preparing intra-operative and post-operative documentation● Assisting in patient’s induction to anaesthesia, including preparation of all necessary equipment beforehand, supporting patient’s airway, handling equipment and cooperating with the anaesthesiologist● Working with the surgeon to provide instruments, needles, swabs and other materials as required● Responsible for the surgical instruments, equipment and swabs● Taking on a role of acting manager on occasions, taking care of running theatre lists in order,acting as a link between the surgical team and other parts of the theatre and hospital. All above responsibilities were related to a multi-specialty surgical theatre, including following surgical fields:● Urology (cystoscopy, radical prostatectomy, transurethral resection of prostate, hydrocele repair, lasertripsy, litholapaxy, Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, meatotomy, nephrectomy, orchidopexy, orchiectomy)● General Surgery (Small and big bowel resections, appendectomy, hernia repairs, thyroidectomy, strumectomy, cholecystectomy)● Plastic Surgery (skin transplant, mastectomy, abdominoplasty, protruding ears correction)● Gynaecology (hysteroscopy, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, D&C, endometrialablation)● Pain Management (operating COSMAN equipment for PRFL, CRFL and RACZ procedures)

● Preparing surgical instruments and hemorrhoidal ligators for general surgeon and oncologist (skin lesions and marks removal, hemorrhoids treatment - rubber band ligations)● securing and describing histopathological specimens● applying and changing dressings, removing skin stitches● cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments● registering patients for visits in the clinic, taking care of patients’ documents and medical records
