About Anna Dickson

I am currently the VP of Content Strategy & Operations at Shutterstock. I manage Strategy & Operations as well as Product for Shutterstock's content supply. Prior to this I was the Group Product Manager at Google, where I lead the multi-year strategy and roadmap for the Licensed Media Service, an internal tool that delivers media content to 100+ product teams across Google. With over 20 years of experience in technology and product management, I have a passion for solving complex problems and creating compelling content experiences using Machine Learning and Generative Artificial Intelligence.In my current role, I manage a global team of 8 FTEs and 100+ vendors, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, research teams, and content partners. I have successfully launched the Licensed Media Service in 2018, resulting in 30B+ daily impressions and 44% YoY growth. I also launched support for IPTC metadata in all Generative AI experiences at Google in 2023, and I am working on developing product experiences that leverage Generative AI with considerations for risks in the changing landscape.
